Free Textbooks |
Under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, free textbooks are provided to municipal and aided schools in the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation area. These books are distributed before the school reopens and handed over to students on the first day of school. |

RTE 25% Admission Process |
Under this initiative, children from disadvantaged and weaker sections are given admission to private schools online, and their school fees are paid by the municipal corporation. |

Residential Hostel |
For orphaned and homeless children in the Mira-Bhayandar area, the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Hostel has been established at Municipal School No. 10, Chene. This hostel accommodates up to 50 children. |

Inclusive Education Initiative |
Various services are provided for differently-abled students, such as medical diagnosis and treatment camps, surgeries, customized equipment to overcome educational barriers, Braille books, assistant allowances, travel allowances, teacher and parent training, therapy services, and special education services. |

Combined Grants |
After approval from the School Management Committee, grants are provided to 36 municipal schools for maintenance and repairs, laboratory expenses, sports and educational materials, electricity bills, internet, and school sanitation facilities. |

Group Resource Center Grant |
Grants are allocated to five group resource centers for educational and teaching-related expenses, including travel and meeting costs. |

7 |
Various Training Programs |
Various training workshops are organized through the DIET office to empower teachers in schools under the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. |
