Introduction :-

The geographical area of Mira Bhayandar city is 79.40 sq. km, of which 25% is designated as a residential area, while the remaining 75% comprises other land uses. With the city's growing population, the number of vehicles has also increased significantly. As a result, vehicles are frequently parked on major roads, causing congestion.
To address this issue and generate revenue for the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), a pay-and-park system can be implemented. By charging a parking fee, the corporation can secure a substantial income. Therefore, it is essential to establish designated parking lots at various locations across the city.
In view of the financial benefits to the Municipal Corporation, the administration will jointly inspect proposed parking locations and take necessary action. Accordingly, tenders are invited through e-tendering for the pay-and-park system in designated parking areas within the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation jurisdiction. The tender will be awarded to the bidder offering the highest bid after a competitive evaluation process.
